First Step:

Phone the insurance company to make a claim, tell them that you will be taking your vehicle to Makepeace & Henderson, then they can send us the information about your vehicle and we can start the process sooner.

  • If you have full insurance and there are two parties involved the insurance company will sort out the details - if you are not at fault then you will not have an excess to pay and it will not affect your policy history
  • If you are not insured or have third party insurance only you will need to know the other parties insurance information and get their claim number from them
  • Your claim can only be cleared once the insurer has a signed uninsured declaration, the insurer will provide the form

Give us a call and/or bring your vehicle in for us to have a look.

  • We take photos of the areas of damage and put together a quote to send to the insurance company
  • We send the quote and photos through to the Insurance Company
  • Once the claim and costs are accepted by your insurance company we will give you a call and book your vehicle in to start the repairs
